Gundam Under Siege
Episode 3: A Desperate Gamble
The SCV-70 White Base, carrying the hopes of the Earth Federation Forces, is en route to Luna II, a crucial resource hub in the moon’s orbit. However, the crew is on high alert, knowing that Char’s Musai-class cruiser is hot on their heels. The question on everyone’s mind is: will they launch a preemptive strike or make a break for safety?
A Divided Crew
Bright Noa, the White Base’s commander, calls an emergency meeting to discuss their options. The crew is split, with some advocating for a daring attack on the Musai, while others believe it’s wiser to flee and regroup. In a rare display of democracy, Bright puts the decision to a vote, and the majority chooses to take the fight to the enemy.
Sneak Attack
Amuro Ray, piloting the RX-78-2 Gundam, and Ryu Jose, in the FF-X7 Core Fighter, execute a daring ambush on the Musai’s supply ship. Meanwhile, Char, in his custom MS-06S Zaku II Commander Type, engages the Gundam in a high-stakes dogfight. The outcome is far from certain, as both sides trade blows and test each other’s mettle.
Chaos Erupts
As the battle rages on, Kai Shiden and Hayato Kobayashi attempt to provide supporting fire from the White Base, but Ryu’s aggressive strafing runs hinder their efforts. Char gains the upper hand, forcing Amuro to retreat. In a desperate bid to turn the tide, Bright orders the deployment of the Guntank, which manages to destroy the supply ship, but not before its crew dumps their cargo, including two MS-06 Zaku IIs.
A Hero Falls
Gadem, a Zeon pilot, takes it upon himself to avenge his comrades and destroy the Gundam. Despite Char’s warnings, he charges into battle, only to meet a tragic end at the hands of Amuro’s beam saber.
Aftermath
In the end, the White Base emerges victorious, but not without scars. The crew reflects on the lessons learned and the sacrifices made. As they set their sights on Luna II once more, they know that the war is far from over, and that the road ahead will be fraught with danger.
