Ramba Ral’s Attack Unleashed
The Desert Ambush
In the scorching desert, Amuro Ray, clad in a makeshift hooded cloak, stumbles upon a small town where he hopes to find refuge and water. Meanwhile, the White Base crew is busy with repairs, and Bright Noa is pondering Amuro’s fate, wondering if he’ll ever return to the Gundam.
A Chance Encounter
As Amuro enters the town, he meets a kind-hearted woman named Hamon, who offers to buy him a meal. Unbeknownst to Amuro, Ramba Ral, a cunning Zeon commander, is lurking in the shadows, planning a massive attack on the White Base. Ral’s men soon arrive, and Amuro finds himself face-to-face with the enemy.
A Game of Deception
Ral, impressed by Amuro’s bravery, offers him a meal, but not before revealing the gun hidden beneath his cloak. As tensions rise, Fraw Bow, Amuro’s friend, is taken captive, and Ral uses her as leverage to test Amuro’s loyalty. Just as it seems like Amuro is in grave danger, Ral surprisingly lets him and Fraw go, but not before ordering one of his men to tail them.
The Battle Begins
As Amuro and Fraw flee, they’re pursued by two Zaku II mobile suits, heading straight for the White Base. Amuro quickly retrieves the Gundam from its desert hiding spot and takes to the skies, determined to protect his friends. Back at the White Base, Bright orders the crew to prepare for battle, and Mirai Sagan struggles to get the base airborne.
Aerial Showdown
The Gundam and Guntank engage the enemy in a fierce battle, while Ryu Jose and Hayato Kobayashi team up to take down Ral’s Gouf. Mirai finally manages to lift off the White Base, but Ral’s Gouf clings to its hull, threatening to destroy it. In a daring move, Mirai performs a barrel roll, throwing the Gouf off course.
The Aftermath
As the dust settles, the White Base crew breathes a sigh of relief, but not before Kai Shiden’s Guncannon takes a hit from Ral’s Gouf, leaving its right cannon damaged. The episode ends with Amuro and his friends reflecting on their narrow escape, knowing that the war is far from over.
