During the attack on the Odessa Spaceport, the Gundam EX engaged Iria’s Zaku II in combat, with Iria attempting to establish a dialogue with the Gundam’s pilot. Swayed by Iria’s words, the Gundam EX’s pilot shoved Iria’s Zaku II away from the falling debris of a destroyed HLV, taking the brunt of the crash. Weakened by the impact, the Gundam EX was caught off guard by a surprise attack from a Gouf Custom, resulting in its tragic demise.
