Shadows of Defiance: The Birth of a Rebellion

Rebellion in the Shadows: The Rise of New Desides

In the aftermath of the Gryps War, a group of disillusioned EFSF and Titans officers stationed at Pezun, a remote asteroid near Side 2 (L4), began to secretly conspire against the Federation leadership. This group, known as New Desides, was driven by a desire to uphold the ideals of the Titans, whose leadership had been decimated during the war.

A Name Born of Defiance

The name “New Desides” is a portmanteau of “decision” and “dissident,” reflecting the group’s rebellious nature. Led by the enigmatic Brave Cod, New Desides was determined to challenge the status quo and forge a new path.

The Pezun Rebellion

On January 29, U.C. 0088, New Desides launched a surprise attack on the AEUG-allied command at Pezun, sparking a chain reaction of events that would come to be known as the Pezun Rebellion. In response, the Earth Federation government hastily assembled Task Force Alpha, a coalition of EFSF, AEUG, and Karaba veterans, to quell the uprising.

Mobile Suits and Machines

New Desides boasted an impressive arsenal of mobile suits and machines, including the RMS-141 Xeku Eins, RMS-142 Xeku Zwei, and RMS-143 Xeku Drei. They also operated a range of vessels, such as the Enterprise-class, Salamis Kai-class, and Columbus Kai-class.
