Gundam Revolution: The Battle Begins

Rise of the Gundam

In the year Universal Century 0079, humanity has colonized space, but a brutal war has erupted between the Earth Federation and the Principality of Zeon. The conflict has already claimed half of humanity’s population, and both sides are now locked in a stalemate.

A Fateful Encounter

In the space colony Side 7, a young woman named Fraw Bow rushes to warn her neighbor, Amuro Ray, of an impending evacuation. Amuro, accompanied by a small robot named Haro, is tinkering with a microscope when Fraw arrives. As they prepare to leave, they’re unaware that three Zeon pilots, Slender, Gene, and Denim, are secretly infiltrating the colony in their MS-06F Zaku II mobile suits.

The Birth of a Hero

Meanwhile, Ensign Bright Noa briefs Amuro’s father, Tem Ray, on the arrival of the White Base, a warship carrying a top-secret weapon: the RX-78-2 Gundam mobile suit. Tem hopes to mass-produce the Gundam to turn the tide of the war. However, Char Aznable, a cunning Zeon officer, has discovered the Federation’s plan and is determined to stop it.

Chaos Erupts

As the Zeon pilots begin their reconnaissance, Amuro and Fraw flee in their car, only to be caught in the crossfire. In the chaos, Amuro stumbles upon the Gundam’s instruction manual and decides to take action. With the Gundam, Amuro faces off against the Zeon pilots, but his inexperience puts him at a disadvantage.

A Turning Point

Just as Gene prepares to deliver the final blow, Amuro uses the Gundam’s powerful vulcans to rip off the Zaku’s head and disable it. However, this victory comes at a great cost: Amuro’s father, Tem, is sucked into space along with another engineer. As the battle rages on, Amuro targets Denim’s cockpit, killing him and destroying his Zaku.

The Aftermath

Char watches from his Musai cruiser, realizing that the Federation’s mobile suit is far more powerful than he anticipated. He launches two missiles towards Side 7, further escalating the conflict. With Tem’s fate unknown, Bright Noa takes command of the White Base and recognizes Amuro as the only living candidate to pilot the Gundam.
