“Bloodshed Over Dublin: A Colony’s Descent into Chaos”

The Devastating Dublin Colony Drop

A Show of Force Turns into a Humanitarian Crisis

On October 31, UC 0088, the city of Dublin, Ireland, became the target of a brutal show of force by Axis Zeon during the First Neo Zeon War. The operation, known as the Dublin Colony Drop, was meant to intimidate the Earth Federation, but it resulted in catastrophic consequences for the civilian population.

The Prelude to Disaster

As the colony drop loomed, the Earth Federation officials remained silent, prioritizing their own interests over the lives of innocent civilians. Meanwhile, the remaining powers of the A.E.U.G. and Karaba, led by Kamille Bidan and Fa Yuiry, prepared to intervene, determined to save as many lives as possible.

The Battle Rages On

With time running out, Rakan Dahkaran, captain of the Neo Zeon forces, launched a surprise attack on a refugee ship, destroying it and catching the attention of the A.E.U.G. The Gundam Team, comprising the MSZ-006 Zeta Gundam, MSZ-010 ΖΖ Gundam, and a Dodai Kai, was deployed to counter the Neo Zeon forces. Hayato Kobayashi, who had stayed behind to coordinate the evacuation, joined the battle, but his Dodai Kai was destroyed, resulting in his tragic death.

The Aftermath of Destruction

The colony drop ultimately occurred, obliterating the city of Dublin and claiming countless lives. The Gundam Team survived the disaster, but the shockwaves sent them flying. Judau Ashta, still reeling from the loss of Hayato, was temporarily overwhelmed by the psionic remnants of the civilians killed in the drop.

A Desperate Bid to Stop the Psycho Gundam

As the battle raged on, Ple Two, piloting the reconstructed MRX-010 Psycho Gundam Mk-II, was sent to finish off the Argama. Judau, Ple, and Kamille worked together to try and shoot down the Mobile Armor, but it proved to be a formidable foe. In a final act of sacrifice, Ple redirected the beam energy onto the reflector bits, destroying the Qubeley and taking her own life.

The Fallout of the Dublin Colony Drop

In the aftermath of the disaster, the Federation government ceded Side 3 to Haman, sparking outrage among the Earth Federation military and AEUG officers. The Dublin Colony Drop served as a grim reminder of the devastating consequences of war and the importance of protecting human life.
