The Enigmatic Challia Bull: Unveiling the Mysterious Newtype

A Soldier of Zeon

Challia Bull, a fictional character from the iconic Mobile Suit Gundam series, is a soldier in the Principality of Zeon’s armed forces. Originally stationed on Jupiter, he returns to the Earth Sphere during the later stages of the One Year War. His journey takes a dramatic turn when he is summoned by Gihren Zabi, who believes that Bull’s exceptional abilities as a Newtype could greatly benefit Zeon.

Newtype Abilities

Bull’s Newtype abilities become apparent during his first meeting with Gihren, as he senses that he will be placed under Kycilia Zabi’s command without Gihren needing to say a word. This extraordinary intuition is just the beginning of Bull’s remarkable journey.

Assignment to the MAN-03 Braw Bro

Upon arrival at Granada, Kycilia assigns Bull to the MAN-03 Braw Bro, alongside Lt. Simus Al Bakharov. However, she hints that if Bull demonstrates more Newtype ability than Lalah Sune, he may take over as pilot of the MAN-08 Elmeth.

Encounter with Char Aznable and Lalah Sune

Bull’s path crosses with Char Aznable and Lalah Sune on the Zanzibar, where he meets the enigmatic duo. In a further display of his Newtype abilities, Bull senses a strong pulse from Lalah. Char shares his belief that the RX-78-2 Gundam pilot is also a Newtype.

Fateful Battle

Bull takes the Braw Bro out, insisting that he merely wants to test it. However, he soon finds himself engaged in a fierce battle with the Gundam. Despite his valiant efforts, the battle is short-lived, lasting only around 10 minutes before the Braw Bro is destroyed, and Bull meets his untimely demise.

Legacy of a Newtype

Challia Bull’s story may have been cut short, but his legacy as a Newtype lives on. His extraordinary abilities and bravery in the face of adversity have cemented his place in the annals of Mobile Suit Gundam history.
