Gundam Build Fighters: The Ultimate Gundam Experience

In the near future, the world is swept up in a frenzy of Gunpla, plastic models based on the anime series Mobile Suit Gundam. Sei Iori, a young Gunpla builder, dreams of becoming the world’s greatest builder and pilot. His life takes a dramatic turn when he meets Reiji, a mysterious boy with incredible piloting skills. Together, they form an unstoppable team, taking on the world of Gunpla battles.

The Birth of a New Era

Gundam Build Fighters is a 2013 Japanese science fiction anime television series based on Sunrise’s long-running Gundam franchise. While not set in the same universe, it expands on the concept introduced in Model Suit Gunpla Builders Beginning G. The series was followed by a sequel, Gundam Build Fighters Try, in 2014.

Production

Gundam Build Fighters was directed by Kenji Nagasaki and written by Yōsuke Kuroda. The series features character designs by Kenichi Ohnuki and Suzuhito Yasuda, and mechanical designs by Kunio Okawara, Junichi Akutsu, and others.

Release

The series aired on TV Tokyo in Japan and was simulcasted on the GundamInfo YouTube Channel. It later premiered on Cartoon Network in the Philippines and was released on Blu-ray in North America by Nozomi Entertainment.
