Space Fortress Deception: A Desperate Gamble

Cosmic Deception

In the midst of a brutal war, the White Base is ordered to depart from Jaburo, leaving behind the rest of the Tienem fleet. The Federation has devised a cunning plan to distract the Zeon forces, using the White Base as a decoy to draw their attention away from the impending attack on the space fortress Solomon.

A New Face on Board

As the White Base sets off, a new character emerges: Sleggar Law, a charming and confident pilot who immediately catches Mirai’s attention. However, his flirtatious nature doesn’t go unnoticed by Bright, who is surprised to learn that Mirai is engaged to a man who fled to Side 6 to avoid the war.

The Zeon Counterattack

Meanwhile, Char and his team, led by Officer Tokwan, prepare to launch a surprise attack on the White Base. They unveil the Bigro, a massive mobile armor, and two retrofitted Doms. Char is determined to strike first, anticipating that the White Base will try to deceive them.

A Game of Cat and Mouse

As the White Base navigates through space, it becomes clear that Char is hot on their heels. Sayla, sensing her brother’s presence, takes to the skies in the G-Fighter, ready to defend her comrades. Amuro and Sleggar launch in the Guncannon, while Bright orders the White Base to turn around, preparing to unleash its main cannon.

A Mid-Air Rescue

The battle rages on, with the Bigro and Doms engaging the White Base. Amuro manages to rescue Sayla’s G-Bull, which was thrown towards the Earth’s atmosphere. As the G-Sky and G-Bull dock, Sayla wonders if her brother is piloting the mobile armor.

A Narrow Escape

The White Base narrowly avoids destruction, thanks to Sleggar’s quick thinking and Amuro’s bravery. Char, however, decides to wait for another opportunity to strike, convinced that his sister is not on board the White Base.

Aftermath

Back on the White Base, Amuro and Sayla reflect on their close call. Sleggar’s admiration for Sayla’s skills earns him a nod of approval from Bright. As the crew celebrates their victory, Mirai politely declines Sleggar’s invitation to join him in the shower, and the episode comes to a close.
