Episode 12: The Winds of Jaburo

In the midst of a chaotic battle, Kamille Bidan takes down enemy forces left and right, his mobile suit blazing through the skies. Despite his success, he’s visibly shaken, questioning the morality of such one-sided combat.

Imprisoned and Desperate

Meanwhile, Kai Shiden and Reccoa Londe are held captive in Jaburo, fearing the worst as they’re unable to contact their AEUG allies. Kai is determined to escape, worried that the AEUG might accidentally destroy the very building they’re in.

The Battle Rages On

As the fight intensifies, Kamille faces off against Jerid Messa’s Marasai, narrowly escaping destruction. Quattro Vagina, leading the main forces, penetrates Jaburo, only to find the base seemingly abandoned. Jerid, however, is hot on their heels, determined to take down Kamille.

A Deadly Trap

Quattro senses a trap, but without news from Reccoa, who arrived before them, they’re unsure of what’s truly happening at the base. As they move through Jaburo’s areas, Kamille has a vision of Reccoa and Kai, and they’re soon attacked by Jerid.

Countdown to Disaster

Lieutenant Commander Jiddely reveals that a nuclear bomb is set to explode beneath Jaburo, leaving them with mere minutes to escape. Blinded by revenge, Jerid refuses to back down, chasing Kamille through the caves until his mobile suit is destroyed.

Evacuation and Rescue

Quattro seizes two Garuda ships and orders an immediate evacuation, but Kamille ignores the order, still searching for Reccoa. Quattro returns to Jaburo, and the four of them finally escape, just as the nuclear blast obliterates the base and the enemy Hizacks.

Aftermath

In the aftermath, an allied ship, the XB-70 Valkyrie, approaches the Garuda, piloted by Hayato Kobayashi of Karaba. The survivors breathe a sigh of relief, but the horrors of war linger.
