The MSM-07S Z’Gok Commander Type: A Formidable Amphibious Mobile Suit

The MSM-07S Z’Gok Commander Type is a variant of the MSM-07 Z’Gok, developed by the Principality of Zeon during the One Year War. This improved, higher-performance model boasts enhanced reactor output, better maneuverability, and a change in armor materials. As a result, it eventually became the standard mass-production Z’Gok model.

Design and Features

The MSM-07S Z’Gok Commander Type has a similar design to its predecessor, with a few notable differences. It features a higher reactor output, which allows for increased power and mobility. The armor materials have also been changed, providing better protection against enemy attacks. The mobile suit’s head height stands at 18.4 meters, with a sensor range of 5200 meters.

Armaments

The MSM-07S Z’Gok Commander Type is equipped with a range of armaments, including:

• 6 x 240mm Missile Launchers: Located in the top of the mobile suit’s head, these launchers can fire 30 rounds of missiles. The missiles can only be fired in relation to the vertical alignment of the torso.
• Mega Particle Cannons: Powered directly by the mobile suit’s reactor, these cannons are mounted in the palm of each hand. They have high beam focusing capability and an output of 3.2 MW.
• Iron Nails: The mobile suit’s arms are equipped with three claws, which can pierce through the armor of enemy mobile suits.

History

The MSM-07S Z’Gok Commander Type was piloted by Char Aznable, also known as the “Red Comet,” during the assault on the Earth Federation’s Jaburo General HQ on November 30, U.C. 0079. Although the attack ended in failure, Char survived the battle and retreated in his Z’Gok Commander Type.
