Zeon’s Fury: Unleashing the Jicco-Class Assault Ship

Assaulting the Skies: The Jicco-class Spacecraft

In the midst of the One Year War, the Principality of Zeon unleashed a formidable assault ship that would change the tide of battle: the Jicco-class. This spacecraft, first seen in the iconic anime series Mobile Suit Gundam, was designed to deliver a devastating punch to enemy forces.

Design and Propulsion

The Jicco-class boasts a unique triangular design, with its engine block situated at the apex of the triangle on both sides. A spindle-shaped block containing the armament is positioned at the head, while a cockpit block extends three legs from each side. Three spherical propellant tanks are nestled between the left and right engine blocks, providing the necessary fuel for its high-powered engines.

Armaments

This assault ship is equipped with a 7-tube missile launcher in the nose, capable of unleashing powerful warheads for long-range bombardments or quick salvos against enemy ships. Additionally, four machine guns are mounted under the cockpit, ideal for laying down suppressive fire against enemy ships or fighters directly in front of it.

Combat History

The Principality of Zeon deployed several Jicco-class ships in various roles, including fleet escort and support duties. In one notable instance, multiple Jicco-class ships were launched from Granada as part of the Solomon relief fleet commanded by M’Quve. The fate of the Jicco-class after the One Year War remains unknown.
