After the original Deathscythe was captured and destroyed by OZ forces, the Gundam Scientists secretly rebuilt and upgraded the mobile suit, creating the Deathscythe Hell. Duo Maxwell, the original pilot, escaped and reclaimed the upgraded mobile suit, continuing his fight against OZ and the Romefeller Foundation.
