Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ: The Next Chapter
In the aftermath of the events of Mobile Suit Gundam Zeta, the story of Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ picks up where its predecessor left off. This manga series, written by Yoshiyuki Tomino and illustrated by Toshiya Murakami, follows the continuing battles of the Anti-Earth Union Group (AEUG) against the Neo Zeon forces.
The Story Unfolds
The series takes place in UC 0088, a year after the events of Mobile Suit Gundam Zeta. The AEUG, led by Captain Bright Noa, recruits a group of teenage junk collectors, including the loudmouthed but powerful Newtype Judau Ashta, to pilot the Argama’s mobile suits. With the introduction of new mobile suits, such as the MSZ-010 Double Zeta Gundam and the returning MSZ-006 Zeta Gundam, the group becomes known as the “Gundam Team.”
Characters and Mobile Suits
The series features a diverse cast of characters, including Judau Ashta, Bright Noa, Fa Yuiry, Kamille Bidan, and Hayato Kobayashi, among others. The mobile suits that play a crucial role in the story include the MSN-00100 Hyaku Shiki, MSZ-006 Zeta Gundam, MSZ-010 ZZ Gundam, and RX-178 Gundam Mk-II.
